Course for Instructors

What is it?

For several years now the International Yi Quan Boxing Research Association has organised this Instructors’ Course, aimed at both amateurs and professionals, in order to teach the basis of Yi Quan in as short a time possible and in a concentrated form.

So far this course has granted diplomas to many people, some of whom have opened courses in their respective towns, others continue the work with us onto higher levels of the art, while still others have incorporated the ideas into their every-day training.

This Instructors’ Course is the best way to learn Yi Quan correctly, especially for those who live at a distance, and we hope that YOU too will join us.

What does it consist of?

Four Sunday Seminars, each lasting 5 hours.

Time: 10.30-13.00 and 14.30-17.00

To be held in November2004 and in January, March and May 2005

The first seminar is planned for Sunday 7th November 2004

Each seminar analyses two basic progressive lessons (thus the complete course covers the eight basic lessons which include the entire fundamental work), plus a space dedicated to examining the personal work of Aspiring Instructors, and a space dedicated to theoretic discussion.

Didactic material is distributed for taking notes.

The dates for the three successive Seminars will be decided on agreement with the participants, to suit individual requirements.

How much does it cost?

Enrolment in and attendance of the course include:

  1. Free membership of the Association for the current year (10 euro)
  2. The Association T shirt (25 euro)
  3. Didactic material
  4. Final teaching Diploma
  5. A free private lesson for every participant, with Master Agostini, for revising the work that has been done, or for special coaching if necessary.

The total cost of this Instructors’ course is 260 Euro, of which the first 60 Euro for enrolment must be sent before 15th October by postal order to:

Stefano Agostini, Via de’ Neri 4, 50122 Firenze, Posta Centrale.

The remaining 200 Euro must be paid in two instalments of Euro 100 each, at the first seminar (November), and the third seminar (March).
